At Leighwood Design Studio, I focus on creating a lasting and memorable experience for each and every client. From our very first consultation over a great glass of wine or craft beer all the way through your special day, I'm there every step of the way to make your engagement less stressful; making it easier to enjoy the reason why you got engaged—love! Leighwood Design Studio is about creating thoughtfully designed wedding stationery to visually tell your unique and adventurous love story.
With a design style that is equal parts minimal and bohemian (think: Anthropologie meets Madewell), I love creating designs with dynamic text, rich color, and luxury finishes. Not to mention unique complimentary finishes. (Hello, guest addressing!)

I'M AMANDA. WEDDING PAPER ENTHUSIAST, CAT LOVER, AND NATIONAL PARKS OBSESSED.
I’m Amanda, owner of this small St. Louis based design studio. I’ve been helping couples and brands tell their unique stories through thoughtfully designed visuals since 2016.
Fueled by a passion to create a career that supports traveling, enjoying delicious food, and spending time with my husband (Justin) and cat-kids (Bruce and Ted), I started Leighwood Design Studio in the spring of 2016. I had just been laid off from my full-time job in retail management—a field I had been in for the past 10 years—and reflected on what really brought me true fire inside.
That fire was graphic design.
I had recently designed my own wedding stationery and I had never had anything that brought me so much joy as getting to create and design something for so many people to see and to cherish. This was my moment of realization.
If we’re getting deep into the story, I had always been a graphic designer at heart. Way back when I was creating fan sites and calling my local radio station to get O-Town on, I was a graphic designer. When I was in high-school wearing Chucks and listening to pop-punk as I designed and published a web zine, I was a graphic designer.
It wasn’t until that moment of realization, when my “safe” route was no longer safe that I had decided to take a jump and create my own business to help give others the same feeling that I had when I held my wedding Save the Dates in my hands.
Since then I have connected with couples and business owners to share their unique and passionate stories in a compelling and beautiful visual way through custom wedding stationery and small business branding. Since then I have been able to travel with my husband to start checking National Parks off of our bucket list. In 2017 alone, we visited Joshua Tree and spent two weeks camping on the top of our car as we explored every nook and cranny of Colorado, visiting all four of their National Parks.
Since then I have started to feel more alive and passionate than I have in most of my life, and that’s all thanks to defining my passion to help others create something beautiful.
